The aim of our website is to provide you with useful information about our work as well as what you need to know about energy and water in your home or business.
Our website is divided into two main sections, the first part is the consumer section, which provides useful information about your rights as an energy and water consumer. We also have information about switching you energy supplier, making a complaint and safety in your home.
The second part of the website is the “Professional” section, which has a greater focus on the regulatory work of the CRU. This section provides detail on the different areas we regulate and how we undertake our work. There is also a publications page in this section, which contains all of our consultation and decision documents. The work of the CRU and many of the documents we publish can contain complex or technical information. We do our best to make our documents as accessible to stakeholders as possible.
