What We Do
The Commission for Regulation of Utilities is Ireland’s independent energy and water regulator. Our work impacts Irish homes and businesses ensuring safe, secure and sustainable energy and water supplies for all customers.
The Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) is led by 3 Commissioners and supported by about 120 staff. We have 6 Directors, each of whom leads a separate division.
Join the CRU to play your part in delivering safe and secure supplies of energy and water, protecting and empowering customers and deployment of renewable and low-carbon solutions for Ireland.
Our mission is to get the best value for money when purchasing the goods and services that we require, maximising the benefits to the CRU and our stakeholders.
