Customer Care Team is here to help domestic and small business customers who have questions or complaints in relation to energy or water. We deal with thousands of contacts from customer every year and we work to provide them with helpful and accurate information.

Each year we produce a report, setting out the number and type of contacts that we have received over the year. The report contains information about the complaints lodged against each supplier and includes case studies about some of the complaints that we investigated.

We also have an important role in gathering information from customers about their experiences with energy supplier, network operators and Irish Water. We use this information to provide feedback to the relevant Divisions within the CRU and this helps them to develop policies that address the issues raised and improve customer protection.

The Customer Care Team has a customer charter that sets out our core values and details our commitments to customers. If you would like to review a copy, then open our Customer Charter.
