On Thursday 29 February, our Electricity Connection Policy team hosted a stakeholder workshop on our Large Energy Users Connection Policy Consultation. The workshop aimed to help inform stakeholders on consultation responses and to provide an opportunity for stakeholders to share their views and address any questions.

The consultation seeks to create a pathway for new Large Energy Users connections to the electricity and gas systems. This will explore options to ensure that large demand connections are low-to-zero carbon and whether they can provide significant flexibility with them when they connect.

Following a number of requests from stakeholders, we have extended the response deadline until 19 March 2024.
