The CRU has today, 20 September 2021, published a Consultation on the Guidance Note for Section 48 and Section 49 Applicants. The changes proposed in the consultation paper are intended to provide additional clarity for applicants and update the Guidance Note to reflect changes that have taken place to the CRU’s process for assessing applications. Further to requests from respondents, the CRU has extended the consultation period for the consultation on the Section 48 and 49 Guidance Note by three weeks. The new closing date for the consultation is 17.00 Friday, 19th November 2021. Responses should be sent to consentapplication@cru.ie
