The CRU have developed a Strategic Plan for the 2019-2021 period as a guiding framework for the CRU’s planning, resourcing, prioritisation, monitoring and reporting activities. The 2019-2021 Strategic Plan documents the CRU’s commitment to deliver a secure, low carbon future at least cost. It demonstrates our commitment to a co-operative approach with our stakeholders to ensure safe outcomes, sustainability (including environmental and economic), reliability and efficiency across the sectors we regulate. In order to carry out this role effectively, the CRU have revised its Mission, Vision, Values and introduced four Strategic Priorities for the 2019-2021 period), which will sit alongside the core activities we undertake, to ensure our vision is realised and the public interest is protected. In accordance with the Energy Act 2016 and the Water Services (No.2) Act 2013, a copy of the CRU 2019-2021 Strategic Plan was submitted to the Minister for Communication, Climate Action and Environment and the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government.
