European Commission consultation on the introduction of REMIT fees Today, the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) informs market participants and stakeholders in the wholesale gas and electricity markets in Ireland of a public consultation launched by the European Commission in relation to the introduction of REMIT fees, as provided for in Regulation (EU) 2019/942. The fees are to remunerate ACER for its tasks under REMIT and the REMIT-related services that it provides to market participants.
