The CER has today, 23rd June 2015, published its letter to the System Operators regarding its position on the approach to potential congestion issues on the distribution system associated with Individual Demand Sites and Demand Side Units. On the 28th April 2015, the CER published a Proposed Position on this issue. Responses received from industry are published below.This letter set out the CER's Proposed Position regarding the respective roles and responsibilities of the TSO, DSO and DSUs in regards to Individual Demand Sites where a distribution network congestion issues is present. This letter was discussed at the Joint Grid Code Review Panel DSU Working Group meeting held on 27th April 2015, related correspondence from the System Operators and Demand Response Association of Ireland was also published alongside the CER Proposed Position.Queries on this issue should sent to Robert O'Rourke at rorourke@cer.ie
