The CER has today, 30th May 2014, published an Information Paper, NDM Domestic Gas Market Competition Review for April 2014. Published alongside this note is the CER's decision to deregulate the domestic gas market in Ireland, NDM Domestic Gas Market Decision. The latest Competition Review shows that Bord Gáis Energy will have met all the criteria for the deregulation of the domestic gas market by the end of June 2014, including the market share threshold of 55% . The domestic gas market will be deregulated on 1st July 2014.
