Charges for Connection to the Distribution System

The CER has today, 30th April 2015, published a  Decision Paper on Charges for Re-energisation of Commercial Premises. CER has approved ESBN's proposal that commercial premises that are re-energised after more than two years should not pay a full, new connection fee.  Rather, the fee will be based on the time that the premises have been de-energised. The new fee will be a standard re-energisation fee, plus one twentieth of a new connection fee for each year that the premises have been de-energised at the time of re-energisation.
