Assistance during storms
The Electricity distribution system can suffer serious damages from high winds, lightning and rainfall during a storm. This damage could be anything from falling trees breaking powerlines, flooding of underground cable vaults to a lightning strike damaging electricity equipment. ESB Networks teams are responsible for repairing the equipment but it can take time for them to locate the damaged network and complete the repairs. Below, we have set out some of the useful information available on the ESB Networks website to assist you during a storm.
