The CRU has today, 15 October 2021 published a Consultation Paper on the 2021 Review of the Electricity and Gas Suppliers’ Handbook. The Suppliers’ Handbook sets out the minimum levels of service that licensed energy suppliers are required to adhere to in their interactions with energy customers, such as, marketing and advertising, billing and disconnections.,
The overall objective of this review is to propose new requirements relating to the Smart Pay As You Go Policy Decision CRU21109 published by the CRU recently. The CRU welcomes stakeholder feedback on the proposed new requirements and other changes set out in this consultation by close of business on 12 November 2021. The CRU expects to publish a Decision Paper by Q4 2021.
