Launch of Designation Process to appoint an Electrical Safety Supervisory Body (ESSB)

The CER has today, 6th March 2015, launched a competitive Designation Process in order to appoint an Electrical Safety Supervisory Body to operate from January 2016 for a seven (7) year period. The principal functions of the Electrical Safety Supervisory Body shall include, without limitation, the registration of electrical contractors and, the inspection, auditing and monitoring of electrical contractors and their works and activities in respect of safety.
