The CRU has today, 01 August 2019, published an Information Paper on the allowed revenue for ESB Networks as DSO, and DUoS tariffs and DLAFs for the 2019/20 tariff year.
The Information Paper sets out the allowed revenue for ESBN, for the tariff year 2019/20 and the resultant DUoS tariffs. The tariff year runs from 1 October 2018 to 30 September 2019. The CRU has also published the DLAFs for the tariff year. DLAFs are Distribution Loss Adjustment Factors which specify the amount of electricity that is lost through the distribution network.
If no other elements of the bill changed, the combined transmission and distribution tariff adjustments will result in the average residential customer’s annual bill rising by €1.26 in October 2019. However, customer’s annual bills depend, on other factors, such as wholesale market costs (which are in turn driven by factors such as international commodity prices), capacity market costs and other system costs.
