Connection Offer Policy Principles Decision Paper

Following from its consultation paper, of 13th September 2013, the CER has today, 19th  February 2014, published a Decision Paper on Connection Offer Policy and Practice (COPP): Installed Capacity Cap.
CER has decided to increase the Installed Capacity Cap of generators under the COPP from 105% of the generator’s Maximum Export Capacity (MEC) or the next whole turbine, to the higher of 120% of the generator’s MEC, or the next whole turbine.  The generator must still comply fully at all times with its MEC.
