Compressed Natural Gas for Transport

Consultation is now closed

The CER is today, March 25th 2015, publishing an Information Note on a number of regulatory issued raised by the supply of compressed natural gas (CNG) to customers as a transport fuel. The paper sets out a number of high-level issues which impact on the CER’s role and responsibilities, and which the CER will be considering over the coming months.
Also, The CER is today, March 25th 2015, publishing a Consultation on a proposed approach to the licensing of suppliers of compressed natural gas (CNG) in public settings. The paper considers the existing supply licence and proposes an approach to the licensing of CNG suppliers within that framework. A marked-up copy of the generic natural gas supply licence is published with the consultation paper for ease of reference
